Kimberly Mitchell lives in a 'Utopian' society, and their rankings are determined by their appearance. The more attractive you appear externally, the better your life is. Not only is she against the system, but there's this supernatural rebellion that occurs and she gets swept up in it because her mother, who she believed to be dead, was part of it, actually her mother is one of the top leaders. Not only does Kimberly have this complicated love life, believed her whole family was dead, has more special abilities that she was aware of, but she also has another set of biological parents. They kind of defy the laws of science in so many ways but that doesn't make everything less complex and complicated.
